The city is divided into two policing sectors. Having these sectors allows the Oakdale Police department to have more of a “customized” focus on each area; although many areas in the city face some similar issues, each also have unique issues. The sectors aid the department in addressing things such as repetitive traffic problems, criminal issues, ongoing disputes, and other areas of concern.
If you have a question or would like to discuss a matter of concern, please contact the Sector Sergeant assigned to your area. Sergeants work a rotating and varied schedule and may not respond to voice mail the same day or may be on a rotation of days off. If your concern is in progress or you need immediate assistance, dial 911 for police service.
