ViniyogaViniYoga is a therapeutic style of yoga which adapts to the needs of each student. Classes are held in a serene setting overlooking the beautiful nature preserve and include a blend of gentle yoga postures, breathing, and simple meditations. Viniyoga helps the body build strength and flexibility while remaining steady and comfortable. Beginners are welcome as are those who have practiced yoga before: all students are encouraged to move at their own pace. Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat. Church Basement Ladies"Hark the Basement Ladies Sing" at the Ames Center in BurnsvilleFriday, November 22 | 10:15 AM – 4 PM | Gladstone Community Education Center, 1945 Manton Street, Maplewood, MN 55109 The Church Basement Ladies are back performing in the newly renovated (including roomier seating) Black Box Theater, at the Ames Center in Burnsville. This original musical is set in December 1960, and finds community members around a reel-reel tape recorder recording a special Christmas greeting for one of their boys serving overseas. If only the recording session could go as smoothly as planned! Sing along as Beverly bangs out Christmas carols on the old upright and enjoy some "Fa La La" fellowship. A buffet luncheon includes brown sugar glazed ham, hash brown casserole, glazed carrots, dinner rolls/butter, full soup and salad bar and a variety of dessert options. Registration and cancellation deadline is October 30. $79.

Indoor Youth Tennis Lessons (Ages 8 to 12)Mondays, November 11 through December 16 ( No class 12/9) | Ages 4 to 7 at 6 – 6:45 PM | Ages 8 to 12 at 7 – 7:45 PM | Discovery Center Learn basic fundamentals of tennis in this fun class! Skills taught include grip, stance, swing, and more in a fun and safe learning environment. We use USTA approved tennis equipment designed for youth tennis. If you have your own racquet, please bring it along each week. Oakdale Recreation has a few to loan each night. Instructor: Dan Stumpf is North High School girl's tennis coach and Hill Murray boy's.
