Adult Road Trip: "Five Presidents" at Old Log TheaterWednesday, July 10 | 11 AM - 4:45 PM | Departs from Walton Park Bandshell Parking Lot Author Rick Cleveland, who has written for The West Wing and House of Cards, demonstrates that he can also make government leaders engaging on stage. Former presidents Gerald Ford, Jimmy Carter, Ronald Reagan, and George H. W. Bush joined the incumbent president, Bill Clinton, at the 1994 funeral of former president Nixon. It had been more than twenty years since the world’s most exclusive club had lost a member through death. “Five Presidents” is an 85-minute imagining of what the five might have chatted about while gathered. Perhaps some soul searching or perhaps these leaders of the free world prefer banter, small talk, jokes, or petty bickering? “Five Presidents” is a smart and funny drama/comedy. Lunch will be served at Old Log Theater prior to the show. Register by June 12. $85.
