Construction Progress

The new Public Works facility continues to progress toward an expected opening in early December. The roof has now been installed over the entire facility. Work continues on the interior walls, operational spaces and office areas.

The aerial image shows a view of the facility facing northwest toward 32nd Street N. The small gray area nearest Granada Avenue N is the front entrance of the building where the public will park and access services. The large white section of the facility is fleet storage. The dark gray section is operational space for mechanics, forestry, the sign shop and other Public Works functions.

The other photos show the concrete block walls for the mechanics area and concrete floor being poured for the second floor office area.
